MUSEUM
The whole project to which has been submitted the Castle marks a definitive change in reference to the state of deterioration to which it seemed hopelessly condemned.
One of the main objectives is the Multimedia Museum, an exhibition including the castle remains and the works of art belonging to the Diocese of Acireale. This virtual museum where are collected the proofs of artistic and historical heritage of the same through the installation of multimedia panels.
It is also provided up to with a “real museum” with the recovered finds of the castle, which therefore with its restoration will allow to disclose the art understanding as goods of the Community.
